Pre-climb meeting at Pioneer
"For the road"

I can’t wait for this event Cross Country Trek 2013 well it does not literally means you will cross another country, much better if they call it Cross Province, no matter how they call it I don’t care hahaha, this event was organized by the YABAG MOUNTAINEERS. Actually the event was seen by my buddy sir Albert also a “mountaineer and solo backpacker” and he encouraged me to join the event but something bothered me because I have a plan to have a vacation in my hometown Claveria Cagayan  and to visit the other local destination that I’ve never been before.  When I saw the videos and pictures on Mt. Kibungan on the internet, I change all my plan without hesitation I confirmed that I will join the event, as what they said pure bonding for 4 days and we will cross 7 mountains start in Kibungan Benguet and we will exit to La Union. This exploration will test our comradeship and to test also our limits. Sir Migs said this is not a competition that you are competing to a race instead enjoy the views, learn to adopt cultures, meet new friends on the trail and enjoy every single moment which is  something more interesting for  me. Since I started in hiking I’ve been in love with natures the majestic waterfalls, mysterious caves, and splendid view on the top of the mountain where you can see the dramatic sunrise and sunset. All of these change my views of life.

This would be my second time to climb in Benguet and what should I be expect to this climb are hobnob with new friends, panoramic view and locals wearing their native clothes. Wishing and hoping have a great weather, praying we are all safe and we will finish this exploration all of us who join.
