Bloggers Climb 2 Side-trip

Sombrero Island

When we reached the concrete road kuya Globert fetched us, (generous man) offered his house and we took our bath without any charge fee and li’l rest for us to recover again to our long wakefulness because of our social that night I enjoyed a lot marami akong nalaman na chismis hahaha. Kuya Globert settled everything going to Sombrero Island. The province has many beaches and is famous for excellent diving spots including Anilao in Mabini, Sombrero Island in Tingloy, Ligpo Island in Bauan, these areas more popularly known as Anilao.

The Island from afar it looks like a hat, maybe that is the reason why they name it Sombrero Island but when we asked kuya Globert he didn’t know the answer why they name Sombrero Island hahaha because we need to confirm why they name it Sombrero Island.

White sand

When we were already on the boat, the first thing I asked was “where’s the life vest?” because I noticed there’s no any life vest on the boat so they barrowed to the other boat. I need to make sure just incase of emergency hahaha. On the middle of the sea every time the waves struck our boat my heart beat faster and I lie down because I feel dizzy, also on my mind I really kept praying that we will reach the Island safe, but the others enjoying taking pictures, maybe I’m only one paranoid because I don’t know how to swim. The first thing I do when we reached the Island was I tried to find shady part of the island because it was very hot and it was already 12noon, after a few minutes I got a sunburn because I forgot to wore my arm warmer. When the others busy with their own activities taking pictures, swimming at the beach and the other boys tried and they attempted to reach the peak of the huge rocks of that island but they aborted it because it’s too dangerous but that time I have my siesta, my favorite past time hahaha. Note: Please don’t attempt to climb that rock because some parts are loose rocks it may cause accident.

Clear sea water

The Sombrero Island has pristine beauty, the white sand, with huge rock formation, not to many crowds, refreshing cool waters. It will be the perfect choice for the summer, you and your kids or your friends will really enjoy a lot during summer season. There is also other Island near that area the Oscar Island.

Wow good times at the beach!

You don't know how to swim? hehe - you have to hire me as your private swim instructor - LoLs! I am a swimmer hehe. I completely understand your reactions when you're looking for life vest though - you're after the safety which is nice for someone who dont' know how to swim on deep seas.

Bauan, Batangas? I know the place and Anilao - is a popular beach destination in the late 80s and early 90s - Anilao Beach resort is owned by Gabby Concepcion before, I don't if he still is the current owner.

Great company you got there! And the survivor peg is the awesomest part hehehe!

More adventures Manong Unyol!

Now I know why you were just lying on that boat. Nagtataka nga ko that time bat ka napaupo dun at dun pa mismo sa loob, hindi yung sa side. Hehe. But it was fun though.
