Glomys Empanada booth in Taytay

     Are you craving for Ilocos empanada? Now you don’t need to travel in Ilocos. Glomys Empanda have their booth here in Metro Manila. The orange colored empanada are cooked on site where everyone can see how these are made and cooked which makes everyone certain that these are clean and newly cooked. Tourist often takes pictures and records a video of how these are made because of its unique and skillful manner of preparation and cooking.

Procedures how they cook the Ilocos Empanada:

Orange rice dough is kneaded by a rolling pin to make it flat
shredded papaya

Fresh egg put in the middle

Ilocos longganisa

     Glory and Glomy's Empanada was the first name of the business of our Grandmother Gloria Aduana Cocson. It was named after Her and her daughter Glomelynn Rigonan.Empanada here in Batac was started during the late 1950's. source: glomysempanada

hahaha tama pero ang mga staff nila noong pumunta kami ay ilocano din from Batac and still andun parin ang toong pagka ilocos empanada niya hehehe kahit nasa manila na sila...

wahh..ginutom ako manong Unyol, parang gusto ko pumunta ng trinoma ngayon...hehe.
na-try ko na din yan before, nung nasa ayala techno hub pa ang mezza norte, sarap nga ng empanada nila, mas type ko kesa sa vigan version na natikman ko. ;)

.. akala ko dahil sa pagkaprito lang nagiging orange ang empanada , sa type of dough pala.. but anyway. favorite ko yan , mura lang yan sa Bulacan :)
