Pancit Center, Food Festival at Rockwell

Because I’m an avid reader of their blog and I read their post about regional pancit of Pancit Center and I saw the pictures of batil patong and pancit cabagan, “mouth-watering”, I start missing Cagayan, Isabela and Ilocos pancit delicacy, believe or not panciteria in our hometown in Claveria also offers these kind of menu so nothing is new to me although not as perfect to the place where originated but they still got the taste, for more than a year now that I haven’t visited my hometown and now I’m craving my all time favorites.

I asked sir Edgar Co of Pinas Muna where to find the exact location of the Pancit Center and how to get there by commute because I’m not familiar with the place. Suddenly during our conversation with Sir Edgar he made a group chat on FB and he mentioned about the Pancit Center to sir Ramil his travel buddy, so I opened up to them that I want to try the batil patong and pancit cabagan, minsan minsan lang ito kinapalan ko na mukha ko hahaha, fortunately they’re willing to accompany me, yeah so we set a time and it’s my chance to meet them.

New regional pancit favorites of Pancit Center launched in Food Festival at Rockwell

Supposedly 1:30PM our meet up At the Shangrila Mall, nakakahiya I’m late hahaha and it was a bad timing, the rain poured heavily we were stuck at the mall we need to wait for the rain to stop, we left the mall past 2PM, sir Ramil messaged the general manager of the Pancit Center unfortunately he was in Rockwell for food festival and the general manager invited us to attend. They were promoting their new regional pancit, and the group decided to go there, li’l bit sad because batil patong and pancit cabagan was not available but I still enjoyed the food because we tasted something new to our palette the Spabok from Bataan also my first time I heard that and Pancit Marilao, and there we met sir Marc Angeles the general manager of Pancit Center, ibang level general manager kausap namin hahaha.

Spaghetti pasta with palabok sause, looks weird but taste good and proud of Bataan

Pancit Marilao
Variant of palabok the difference of this pancit is its toppings, topped with crispy okoy
