St. Joseph The Worker Church

After we visited the shrine of Our Lady Lourdes in Tungko, we rode a trike going to the center of commercialization of San Jose Del Monte Bulacan for about 10-15minutes ride from Tungko, where we glimpsed one of the old churches in Bulacan the St. Joseph the worker. Librero said photographers are fascinated with the old architectural structure this Church one of the best subject.

We never let it pass to take pictures of the interior and exterior designs of the old Church to be included to our documentations about Bulacan unfortunately it’s too crowded during that time. In the façade of the church I didn't have a perfect shot and I’m dismayed because even the front of the Church they used as parking lot.

Kubo sa Bayan

Kubo sa bayan

After Librero toured us around the Churches of Bulacan we decided take our early lunch because from San Jose Del Monte his estimation was almost 1hour ride of jeep going to Malolos Bulacan. He mentioned to us that one of the Bahay Kubo restaurant in San Jose Del Monte was featured in Byahe ni Drew, a travel show hosted by Drew Arellano at News TV channel 11. Fortunately we found it across only the St Joseph the worker church, perfect timing for me because I’m starving and craving for hot soup. We ordered a Salo-salo set good for 5 persons for only 629.00. For 15minutes of waiting finally the waitress serves our foods that we ordered. The aroma of the soup makes me feel complete.

Fruit salad

Indeed “Da best kumain sa Kubo sa bayan” and also the foods is also affordable and they serve freshly cook foods, after we ate at Bahay Kubo, my tummy’s happy for the whole day. My final verdict, two thumbs up for the affordable prices and scrumptious lutong bahay, good for barkada meals.
